Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Sorta Mail mobile application ("App") operated by Sorta Mail ("we", "us", or "our").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Sorta Mail is an email organization application that allows you to:

• Connect your Gmail or Outlook email accounts
• View and organize emails using swipe gestures
• Archive, delete, or mark emails as important
• View your action history

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly update your account information if it changes
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Email Access

To connect your email account, you must provide an App Password (not your main account password). By connecting your email:

• You authorize us to access your inbox via IMAP protocol
• You understand that email actions (archive, delete) are performed on your actual email account
• You acknowledge that deleted emails may not be recoverable depending on your email provider's policies

5. Subscription and Payments

Sorta Mail offers subscription plans with different features and limits:

• Free Plan: Limited daily actions
• Pro Plan: Increased limits and features
• Unlimited Plan: Unlimited actions

Subscriptions are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. By subscribing:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
• Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policies

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Use the App to send spam or unsolicited communications
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Sorta Mail and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The App will meet your specific requirements
• Results obtained from using the App will be accurate

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sorta Mail shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, business interruption, or loss of profits.

10. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion:

• Your account and associated data will be permanently deleted
• Active subscriptions will not be automatically cancelled - you must cancel through Apple
• We may retain certain information as required by law

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
